Development Services
The first thing to do is to get an idea of the message that you want your site to deliver. You have to know what you want your site to do for it to do anything. Start by asking yourself some questions, do you want to:
What written content do you have? A site without content is basically useless. Maybe even damaging! Design is important and so is keeping a site up to date. Take a look at www.peckjones.com. It is one of the ugliest sites I've seen. I think it looks very 1995, but Peck-Jones is one of the largest contractors in the US. At first glance, I'd guess they were small-time. You have to develop your content. Programmers are not going to be able to learn your business and market your company for you. A site can start from something as simple as a tri-fold brochure or even a business card, but there has to be something to start with. Photography
