Flash Development:

• Flash - Macromedia's vector based web animation format. Splashy, exciting results can be had using flash as an addition to your web site.

I'm no Flashologist, but some of the colaborators are. I favor minimal use of flash for a couple of reasons:

1. It requires a plug-in, however almost everyone has the plug-in installed.
2. Flash is not as friendly for navigation. You can't use the back button on your browser as efficiently
3. I basically just want information

What I really like Flash for is small animations and accents like banners. It's great for games and entertainment, and it can make a really cool presentation.
